Governor Mike Huckabee has set up a new website to assist Americans in their fight against the government takeover of health care which is set to be voted on in a few days. His website www.callcongressnow.com gives the phone numbers of every U.S. Congressman and Senator in an easy to use form for calling.
His website reads:
President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are attempting to ram their massive health care bill through Congress.
They are pushing full steam ahead with their bill – which includes taxpayer funded abortions. We need to make certain our voices are heard in Washington. We must stop this bill.

Huckabee has also become one of the leaders in the Online Tax Revolt that will take place on April 15th. In a blog post he blasts the current tax system and encourages other Americans to join him in the revolt. It is no secret that Huckabee is a major backer of the Fair Tax and this revolt is right in line with that. When you join in the march you are able to select Mike Huckabee’s team.

This Health Care Program needs to fall down. I agree we need reform on some of the health care laws, but to kick our seniors in the pants and to scoff at the cost and to further jepordize our freedoms as Americans I do not go for. Our nation was established on belief in God the Father and in His son Jesus Christ and I cannot see that higher taxes and give aways to people who do absolutely nothing to earn anything are entitled to anything from the American taxpayer and if these jobs keep disappearing there will not be any taxpayers and I believe that is Obama’s plan to completely destroy the USA I say we need to block his proposals anyway possible that is legal and stop listening to his “eloquent speeches” which seem to me to be a figment of his imagination better known as double-talk or out and out lies.

I know that health reform needs ro be done, but not the way that it is being formed as of now. Puttting earmarks in it, working behind closed doors, and then adding republcan ideas on top of the huge volume that has already been passed. If the house democrats pass this bill on the bases of items that will be changed or removed during reconciliation they are foolish. I hope this gets tabled and a new piece of legislation is passed that is more in keeping with the public’s desires.

Watching the actions and hearing the Presidents words, we can only assume that he is out to destroy our beautiful country. If not he, then who? who are his handlers if he isn’t making these destructive decisions. Anyone who voted for him should get down on his/her knees and beg for forgiveness.
I am sure that the Health Care Bill is not in our best interest, and if approved through the underhanded means that they are talking about, it will be the last Bad dicision they will have to make.
As a nurse who has been a healthcare provider for over 40 years, I believe the health care bill is a very dangerous iniiative as it is presently being proposed. We have the best health care in world and congress is attempting to change that now to meet their own personal goals. Yet they will not be subject to this healthcare bill they would impose on others.
This dangerous bill is not considering what has happened in other countries that have national health care, resluting in long waits to receive care and diminshed services accompanied by higher taxes at a time where this is another blow to our declining economy. I am extreely concerned about the lack of response of congress to the American people and the urgency and priority they place on this unwanted bill. I am begging you to please listen to the people you represent and vote against this health care bill.
I live in Southern New Jersey. I tried to go to “CALL CONGRESS NOW” and it was not available. How very disappointed I was! I definitely do not want this, so called, health care bill to go through. Mike, I was watching your 5 points on healthcare. The 4th point hit hard for me. I an treating a chronic lymes disease that us already a battle with insurance companies. Many of chronic lymes patients cannot afford the costs if proper treatment which can be as much as $3500 a week . There is strong evidence that if lymes left untreated can turn into cancer, parkinsons and many other much more expensive treatments . We pay thousands of dollars already each month to cover our family and extended familly I cannot imagine that the new policies will not be covering kneaded like mine. In one paticular clinic they tests all cancer patients for lymes and they are funding 70% of cancer patients test positive for lymes. Dies our government want to continue to make it more difficult to get any re imbursement or coverage for people like myself. If these chronic kneaded are left untreated it will end up costing all including government and insurance companuws even more if they do not recongnize these types of illnesses early on. I cannot even image the hundreds if thousands of dollars my chronic lymes would cost the government if left untreated

Instead of breaking down the 2700 page bill and dealing with it issue by issue, it won’t get done and other items will be slipped into it when they lie to us and say Oh wait until they see, it is a good thing….I do not think so, it is unconstitutional and not good for the Amricans who worked their entire life for retirement and paid for medicare benefits. Lawyers earn more than MDs and Insurance execs, and Drs must order extra tests to avoid getting sued.(c)Reality is, Ins. co.s raise rates to stay in business. Their profit margins are 3.3% avg.Grocery stores are 2.3% avg,and dept.stores about 5% avg.We spend more on healthcare each year because we are aging, and because more care is available. Dems vilify ins co.s cause they are a convenient scapegoat.Dont you believe them! The same govt that upset you by spending $80 on $8 toilet seats and $200 on $18 torque wrenches cannot, will not get anyone healthcare for less than they can buy it themselves! I wanted to let you know that I have written two Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, to let them know and urge them to vote against the Health Care Bill. I made it clear in my letter that I am against abortions to be paid by the American people as part of this bill. I have also made several petitions, one through American Center for Law and Justice. I think that Jay Sekelou is really trying to get the word out to reject this Health Care bill. It is obivious that the Democrats are the ones that want to pass this bill. What else can we do to get Congress to stop this bill?

To add to my previous message, Sen. Feinstein and Boxer said that they are for Health care reform. I do believe that Rep. Congresman George Radonovich in California is against the Health care reform.
In view of the fact that regardless of the more than half the population that are against this socialism form of healthcare, we finally realize that the freedoms of choice we thought we had is just a distant memory and our country has taken the socialism form of government. I can now watch as this country (as was the case in other governments who went this route) slowly disintergrate into the pit. Please work on fixing our present health care system without destroying it entirely. I DO NOT want my tax dollars used to fund abortions. this is an outrageous step for congress to take…I believe we need reform but take it is steps…I pay more now for medical service since I have been on medicare…how much more can Americans Take? They need to look at the medicaid program and not punish those that need assistance to get up in the morning and need care but do hold a job and pay taxes….why is their a limit on what they can make a year and what assets they can have? The government surely takes that taxes they pay…this is unfair…..the elections this fall will be interesting….I know It will change my vote,….
This administration has done more to divide this country than any in my lifetime (I’m 70) I still vote and intend to do so until I can no longer vote for a Republican or Independent. I always thought that we needed two parties to keep everything in balance. I don’t want to see a one-party administration no matter the party, But, I wouldn’t be too unhappy to see the demise of the Democratic party to make room for a new party, be it tea party or independent. The Republicans need some solid oversight along with everyone else. The Democrats really aren’t concerned with getting voted out. Thet will have their full pensions. They should lose such big pensions and maybe get half and half again if they serve only one term. Same for the President. If the administration cannot deal with the same health insurance as the rest of us or if they don’t get Social Security like the rest of us, they have no business being in power. They serve the people, not the other way around. I never want an administration who thinks they know what is best for me.

Absolutely NO. There’s nothing wrong with President Obama’s Health Care program other than the way they are going to pay for it. They are going to borrow from Medicare when they should be raising the individual federal income tax and not wait two years until the election? In fact, if they would quit borrowing or stealing from Social Security and Medicare, you probably wouldn’t have to do anything. In 2009, Treasury owed Medicare $324 billion and Social Security $2.3 trillion. There has to be another way to reduce the deficit like RAISING the individual income tax and closing tax loopholes.
