Save the Wolves but Kill the Babies

I will be the first to admit that I am anything but a Palin fanatic, but I realize that she has her head screwed on straight when it comes to traditional values and for that reason I will defend her against the likes of Ashley Judd any day.

This heartfelt video pleading against the inhumane aerial killing of wolves in Alaska comes from the same woman in this article.

After a brief slide show featuring Bush and other anti-abortion politicians, during which the crowd booed and hissed, Judd remarked, “It’s so nice to live in America again.”

NARAL President Nancy Keenan, whom Judd called the “Barbra Streisand of the pro-choice movement” because “she does it all,” had the mostly female crowd cracking-up during her speech, as she showed a picture of the bathroom at NARAL’s headquarters, which sports a photo of President Bush signing anti-abortion legislation.

First of all, I’m sure that Judd has about the same knowledge I do of the wolf problem in Alaska and how to best remedy it:  none.  Second, I am also a bleeding heart when it comes to animal cruelty, but Judd’s argument falls on deaf ears when, at the same time, she advocates for the killing of unborn babies and even laughs about it.  If I would post a video showing the malicious procedure of abortion and inhumane partial birth abortions, no one would be laughing as they witnessed the baby feel the pain.  However, if I would post a video like that I would just be another right-wing nut job extremist trying to take away women’s “reproductive rights.”

I’m so glad that Ashley Judd is using her fame and notoriety to fight against the inhumane killing of wolves and to fight for abortion rights.  Makes a lot of sense of sense, no?  Just another screwed-up Hollywood liberal looking to find her place in the world.  If we’re lucky, she’ll end up in the gutter like the Dixie Chics did after they opened their big, fat, mouths.
